October 05, 2011 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
A children's charity needs your help to be in with the chance of winning £6,000 to help disadvantaged children and young people in Blaenau Gwent. Action for Children's Winchestown 416 project, based in Nantyglo, has been shortlisted for the chance to win the community grant. The project works with disadvantaged children and young people and their families, who are experiencing serious difficulties and at risk of family breakdown.
Action for Children fundraiser Nina Rice said: "This is a fantastic initiative from NatWest and we would like to thank them for giving Action for Children the opportunity to add value to our work with children, young people and their families. Winning this grant will make a huge difference to the lives of the young people we support at Winchestown 416 so I would like to urge everyone living in Gwent to vote for our project at http:// communityforce.natwest.com."
Voting opens today (Monday 26 September) and closes on 23 October. Each person can vote up to three times in any area but only once for each project. To vote for Action for Children's projects, visit http:// communityforce.natwest.com. For further information contact Nina Rice on 02920 347 060.
