A resident of Dover, DE, Franco attended Columbia School of Broadcasting, the Phlebotomy Training Program under Temple University, St. Christopher Pediatric Hospital by Dr. B. Schneider, and worked as a broadcaster at a radio station in Salisbury, Maryland. She is a phlebotomist at Mercy Health in Darby, PA.

Franco is married and has two children. She enjoys reading and listening to opera.
