NEW YORK, N.Y. — Congressman David Schweikert (R-Arizona), author of "The Private Company Flexibility and Growth Act," will discuss his recently introduced bill with the Wall Street community during his Keynote Presentation at the upcoming The Private Company Stock Conference on September 12 in New York, NY. "Burdensome regulation cannot grow the economy nor can it create jobs. That is why I introduced H.R. 2167, which provides relief to small businesses by amending the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, allowing for 1,000 shareholders, instead of 500, before filing public financial statements. This kind of regulation severely limits the growth stages for companies and leads to fewer jobs and less innovation," said Representative Schweikert.
The Private Company Stock Conference, hosted by DealFlow Media, will bring together venture-backed companies, employee stockholders, investors and advisors to network and examine the host of legal, investment and tax considerations that accompany the emergence of a market for private company stock.
Attendees at The Private Company Stock Conference will include Funded Company Founders, Angel Investors, Venture Capitalists, High Net Worth Individuals, Family Offices, Wealth Management Professionals, Funded Company Managers, Research Firms, Valuation Experts, Legal & Tax Specialists, Private Equity Firms and more.
