One of the world's biggest cult musicals, The Rocky Horror Show, is set to arrive in Dusseldorf later this year.
 
A new version of Richard O'Brien's much-loved comedy production will open at the Capitol Theatre on Tuesday September 20th, giving fans a chance to enjoy the show all over again.
 
Featuring classic songs such as Dammit, Janet!, Sweet Transvestite and The Time Warp, the musical has been performed at venues around the world since its 1973 debut in the West End.
 
The Rocky Horror Show tells the story of a clean-cut couple, Brad Majors and his fiancee Janet Weiss, who get lost late at night and stumble across a mysterious castle inhabited by the mad alien scientist Dr Frank N Furter.
 
In this bizarre habitat, they are introduced to a host of unusual characters and become participants in Frank N Furter's strange sexual experiments.
 
People who have yet to see the production on stage may be aware of the popular film version, which was released in 1975 as The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
 
Advance tickets to enjoy the show at the Capitol Theatre are available online, priced between €33 and €47.50 (£28.80 and £41.50).
 
The musical's run in Dusseldorf will last until Sunday October 2nd, with evening performances starting at 20:00 local time and matinees beginning at 15:00.
