New HangSafe Corner Shelves™ now available online

(November 1, 2005) Customers can now go online to purchase HangSafe Hooks™’ newest product line, HangSafe Corner Shelves.

The shelves were designed to provide an alternative to placing books, purses, keys and other personal belongings on a wet sink or restroom floor. They are made of solid oak and come with a polyurethane finish and customers’ stain color of choice. The corner shelves can be used as individual units or paired together for use on partitions.

In 1992, Kevin Schauer founded HangSafe Hooks after the first sale of its original product line, HangSafe Hooks. Unlike traditional, protruding coat hooks, the hooks are made of Lexan™ plastic and feature a flat profile that eliminates potential head or eye injury. The idea was developed as Kevin watched his son play in the halls of his church. It became apparent the traditional hooks mounted at his son’s eye level were a safety hazard.
