Sale of Crispers Finalized to Healthy Food Concepts, LLC

July 12, 2011 – Lakeland, Florida – The sale of Crispers LLC, a Florida-based, fast casual restaurant chain has been finalized between Healthy Food Concepts, LLC and Publix Super Markets. Crispers, founded in 1989, operates 36 locations throughout Florida, serving fresh salads, soups and sandwiches.

"The sale of Crispers to Healthy Food Concepts marks an exciting new chapter in the evolution of the Crispers brand," stated Crispers CEO Ron Fuller. "We look forward to rolling out several new initiatives in the upcoming months. It's an exciting time at Crispers."

Through this acquisition, Crispers parts ways with Publix Super Markets who purchased Crispers in 2007. In appreciation for all of the support that has been provided by Publix Super Markets over the years, Crispers will be offering a 10% discount to all Publix employees who wish to dine at any Crispers location on an ongoing basis as a thank you.

In addition, Crispers announces "Friends Eat Free" Day on August 11th 2011 to emphasize the loyalty to the patrons who have supported the Crispers brand throughout the years. Fuller stated, "We want our valued customers to introduce our restaurants to their friends. Bring in a friend and they will eat FREE."

Crispers will be the first fast casual restaurant investment for Healthy Food Concepts, LLC, citing the healthy dining experience that Crispers offers as a deciding factor in the purchase of the restaurant. Healthy Food Concepts hopes to expand the Crispers offering inside and outside the state of Florida in several test markets over time.
