North Hampton, NH – The New England Inns and Resorts Association (NEIRA) concludes its first ever Facebook Trivia Contest by awarding Shelli Brien, native of Methuen, Massachusetts, three, two night stays at NEIRA member resorts in Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont. NEIRA CEO Beth Steucek says the trivia questions and the contest itself were meant to represent the spirit of New England travel and resort adventure. "We're very, very excited about the chance to share the rich diversity of our member resorts with our lucky winner," Steucek explains. "With so much to offer, our three participating resorts illustrate New England's vast wealth of lodging and vacation options."
Brien was one of eight weekly trivia contest winners to correctly answer New England travel and resort questions posted to NEIRA's Facebook page. The eight weekly contest winners were then entered into a drawing for the grand prize, awarded June 29 by the Association.
Brien had the following to say upon finding out the exciting news:
"Thank you very much. I have spent much time looking longingly at these resort's websites. I can't wait. I have booked many trips through your website, but never to these resorts ~~ it will be a treat," she said.

The unique grouping of destinations allows Brien the opportunity to sample the region's cities, mountains, and harbors. These destinations represent the diversity of NEIRA's 250 members which range from hotels to inns, and from full service resort s to small B&B's. This unique sampling of properties will allow the grand prize winner a chance to experience the full range of what New England has to offer.
Each trip promises to be a truly unique and memorable experience. Guests to the Sebasco Harbor Resort have the opportunity to stay in Sebasco Harbor's lighthouse, which boasts prime Atlantic Ocean views, and enjoy a famed Maine lobster dinner before heading out to explore the region's rocky coastline.
