Jacuzzi® Brings Running Professionals to Expos in Eight U.S. Cities

Chino, CA, July 1, 2011 – Jacuzzi, the leading name in hot tub hydrotherapy, has tapped running and fitness professionals to offer tips and techniques to attendees at select Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Health and Fitness Expos being held across the U.S. from now until the end of the year. The pros will help spread the word about how a combination of flexibility and stretching exercises, along with warm water massage, can prevent and speed recovery from muscle soreness and common injuries.

Experts at the Jacuzzi booth at the two-day Expos will demonstrate the proper ways to stretch, prepare for race day, and recover faster while training for endurance events. Physical therapists and exercise professionals have long recommended proper stretching as a way to enhance flexibility, increase circulation, and help relieve minor injuries. The warm, jet-driven water in outdoor hot tubs can also help boost blood flow and relax sore, stressed muscles.

Runner James Staten, who last was the first to finish all 14 events in the Competitor.com Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series, believes in the power of hot tub hydrotherapy for easing muscle soreness. The Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Expo in San Diego, CA, was the first stop for Jacuzzi on the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon circuit. Elite runner Luke Humphreys from Team Hanson's-Brooks was featured. From there, the Series traveled to Seattle, WA.
