Blood on My Sword, a new book by Otis Glenn, has been released by RoseDog Books.

How do you see yourself? Otis Glenn feels that titles often interfere with mutual respect, and in trying to define each other with titles; we tend to misinterpret each other's actions and persona. Instead, Otis Glenn prefers to write of his desires, pain, insecurities, and love, which come from the very core of his consciousness, so that his loved ones know the thoughts of his soul.

The poetic words of Blood on My Sword speak particularly of his pride in his African American heritage and his desire for other African Americans to identify and show the same pride, with the ultimate goal of celebrating the uniqueness of his people and all people.

Otis Glenn was born in Athens, Georgia, and currently lives in Hempstead, New York. He attended college at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida. He has three children, Aiysha, Rahsaan, and Jamaal, and he enjoys listening to jazz, reggae, and political talk shows. He is also the author of Eternal Soldier.
