Linda Jones Simmons, a transplant from the San Francisco Bay Area, has been a resident of Pasadena, California, for the past four decades. Now eight years into her second career in education, she is a liaison for Monrovia Unified School District in the San Gabriel Valley Consortium for induction into the teaching profession. Her current "students" are beginning teachers she supervises at the secondary level.
