Celebrity Lunch Fundraiser

Vernon, CT November 2, 2005. Hockanum Valley Community Council, Inc. (HVCC) will be holding it’s Celebrity Lunch Fundraiser on Wednesday, November 2, at Rein’s Deli, 435 Hartford Turnpike, Route 30 in Vernon, CT, 06066, anytime between 11:00am and 2:00pm. The event promises to be an afternoon of fun, fantastic company, and a great New York style deli lunch prepared by the chef’s at Rein’s.

A group of local and state celebrities have graciously agreed to make guest appearances to help support HVCC. Rein’s Deli will be donating $1.00 for each lunch purchased and an additional $1.00 every time the “HVCC Dessert Of The Hour” is ordered! A bucket of Rein’s Famous Pickles will be given to each donor of $50.00 or more to HVCC. There will be a non-perishable food barrel for donations to restock our pantry and we will also have a table to sign up those wishing to “Adopt A Family” for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Proceeds from the event will be used for HVCC’s operations as we continue to help our less fortunate neighbors who benefit from our services. You do not need a ticket for this event.

Hockanum Valley Community Council, Inc. (HVCC) is an independent, multi-program, private non-profit human service agency. It is dedicated to meeting the needs of the residents of the Tolland County area. HVCC provides services to individuals and/or families in a manner that will promote independence while assuring that basic needs are met regardless of ability to pay.
