Coherent Interactive Redesigns the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce Website

June 20, 2011 - Coherent Interactive has completed a redesign of the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce (GSCC) website (http://www.seattlechamber.com/). The new GSCC website launched on June 16th, 2011, with an updated look and a rich set of features designed to better address the needs of members and visitors.

Coherent Interactive was contracted to develop the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce website in July, 2010. Working closely with Chamber staff to detail business requirements and audience needs, Coherent Interactive developed personas, brainstormed innovations, and designed a unique Chamber of Commerce website.

The new Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce website was built to:

Be more social-integrating social media elements directly into the website

Showcase events-to increase event registrations, through an attractive and easy to use calendar and event pages

Drive traffic-through features that enable users to share content from the website more easily, and by better optimizing for Search engines

Provide a personalization framework-through a new Member dashboard and by designing the website and its content so that users can get a customized experience

Retain visitors and members-by linking related information and improving navigation, so users are more likely to explore the website

Become an information hub-highlighting the top news, events, and issues on the home page, and making relevant information more visible
