City of COVINA, California Selects TECTRANS for Transit Operations Services

The City of Covina has selected Tectrans to provide contracted operations and maintenance services for the City's Dial-a-Ride program. "The City selected Tectrans because of their experienced team and their understanding of our transit system and its needs, including a number of new technologies Tectrans is providing at no extra cost to the City or its taxpayers. These new technologies will help us to improve communications with our clients and will result in improved customer service by resolving issues that were difficult for our previous contractor to define and address," according to Alex Gonzalez, Senior Management Analyst for Covina. Operations under the new contract are set to begin July 8, 2011.Tectrans Chief Operating Officer John Busskohl said, "We are proud to work with the City of Covina and to include them in our growing list of contracted transit services customers. Our objective at all of our operating locations is to provide the highest quality, safe and reliable service for our clients and passengers and we are so grateful to the City for selecting us to do so for the City's Dial-A-Ride passengers."
