ICF Consulting is Pleased to Announce the Hire of Water Markets Expert Dr. Scott Reid

ICF Consulting announced today that Dr. Scott Reid and several colleagues have joined the firm to manage its global services to water utilities and provide water policy support to governments. Dr. Reid has more than ten years of experience related to regulatory economics issues in the water sector. Dr. Reid has consulted extensively with water executives, policymakers, and regulators. Earlier in his career, he was employed by the UK water regulator, Ofwat, and the University of Edinburgh. Dr. Reid and his colleagues will establish a water markets consultancy for ICF Consulting.“Dr. Scott Reid is a widely respected and experienced regulatory economist. He has worked extensively with regulated private sector water utilities in the United Kingdom and public sector water regulators in areas such as tariff development, business and investment planning, price setting, efficiency analysis, cost benefit analysis, and competition,” says Sudhakar Kesavan, Chief Executive Officer of ICF Consulting. “The UK has been a leader in water market reform.
