Uniform Advantage Miami Dade Nursing Scholarship

Uniform Advantage announced the winner of the Uniform Advantage Miami Dade Nursing Scholarship today. Kevin Jacobson of Miami Dade College, in school to attain his Associate of Science Degree in Transitional Nursing, won a $500 check to be used for tuition and books, as well as a $100 Uniform Advantage Gift Card. This card can be used to purchase the medical uniforms and accessories he will need for school and in his career. In order to win the scholarship, students filled out a general scholarship application during the school term. Based on the details the student provided in the application, the school's scholarship committee or a department head matched the students with scholarships according to the donor's criteria. These criteria include:
1. Must be a student
2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
3. Must have a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.5
4. Must have been accepted into one of the college's nursing programs
This scholarship will be awarded each fall and spring to a different nursing student.
