Natascha Badmann Wins Triathlon Competition In Hawaii

Swiss triathlete Natascha Badmann won the world's most prestigious triathlon competition, the Ironman World Championship, crossing the finishing line in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii trouncing 43 of the world’s best triathletes.

The 38-year old Swiss sportswoman and IWC brand ambassador, Ms. Badmann has won the competition for the sixth time now.

“The Ironman Triathlon is a triple-endurance event based on three existing long-distance races, the rough water swim across 2.4 miles, the 112-mile bike race and a 26.2-mile run and is known to test the limits of the world’s top endurance athletes,” said IWC Brand Manager, Gianfranco D’Attis. “We are delighted that IWC’s brand ambassador, Natascha has won the event displaying her fierce competitiveness, true strength, motivation, determination and courage,” he stressed.

Natascha Badmann wore an IWC Aquatimer Chrono-Automatic while finishing ahead of second-placed Australian Michellie Jones and went on to cross the line with an overall lead of 2 minutes and 21 seconds.
