The newly released A.I.med 6.0 adds multiple window views, more efficient billing, faxing in and out, Palm Capabilities, and user-to-user memo notification features to the existing Billing, EMR, Scheduling and Patient Demographics functionality of the previous versions. The upgraded Billing and EMR modules are rich in features important to smaller practices, and are tightly integrated with A.I.med. Also included in the new release are significant improvements in speed, ease of use, and customization capabilities.A.I.med is positioned to be the leader in practice management and EMR for small- to medium-sized medical offices using the Windows platform. With a 100% satisfaction and custom retention rating in just under seven years, Acrendo has demonstrated A.I.med is the product of choice for the small practice. A.I.med is one of just a handful of all-in-one products on the market today, and the only one that can be installed and maintained with no I.T. staff in a small practices.
A.I.med is based on the FileMaker engine which makes it a Rapid Development Application by nature, giving end users a custom system before, during and after the installation. And with an easy to learn and use interface, A.I.med can be installed and up in running in hours, not days like some of the larger systems on the market today.
Acrendo is targeting Medical Practices with five or fewer physicians with an affordable, complete, integrated software solution. “We believe there is a void in what the industry offers to this market segment,” said Casey Guss, President and CEO of Acrendo Software. “Existing solutions are expensive, difficult to use and often must be integrated a little at a time,” Guss continues. “A.I.med is designed and priced to overcome these barriers to automating smaller medical offices. In conjunction with the introduction of Aimed 6.0, we are aggressively recruiting channel partners in the U.S. to extend our reach in the small/medium-sized Medical Practice market segment.”
