BCC Software Receives USPS ANKLink Certification

Rochester, NY—BCC Software, a BÖWE BELL + HOWELL Company and a leading developer of high-performance software and solutions for professional mailers, has been certified to offer United States Postal Service® (USPS®) ANKLink™ processing to mailers who request USPS NCOALink™ Limited Service Provider (LSP) address-updating processing. BCC was the first provider to receive USPS certification for the new ANKLink technology.

ANKLink augments the NCOALink LSP service, which compares submitted list records against the most recent 18 months of information in the USPS Change of Address (COA) database, by determining if the records match any addresses in the full 48-month COA file. Addresses falling into that category are flagged during the ANKLink process; if the mailer determines enough records in the list would benefit from further updating, NCOALink Full Service Provider (FSP) processing is available to update those addresses against the full 48 months of data.

BCC now provides ANKLink processing at no additional charge for all jobs submitted for NCOALink LSP service. ANKLink gives mailers the ability to make more informed decisions about how deep into the COA database their updating should go — with the end result of reduced costs and improved deliverability.
