Cipher takes collaboration to the next level with its latest enhancements to Knowledge.Works.
October 20, 2005 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
Cipher Systems announces today enhancements to its competitive intelligence (CI) toolkit Knowledge.Works. Advanced content integration, collaboration and reporting features refresh the already robust software. We have always stressed the importance of primary source information,” says Cipher CTO Ted Johnson. “Knowledge.Works already incorporates this information – input from the field, trade show reports and interview transcripts – along with secondary source detail from the web and from subscription news feeds. Now our clients can include details from integrated RSS feeds that capture information from sources like external blogs. A new interactive bulletin board is also available.”
In addition, Cipher continues to increase the capabilities of its automatic report generator. Two new templates have been added to the report library. Today Cipher introduces the Market Analysis and Product Assessment templates. Like the SWOT and Company Profile templates previously introduced, these allow an analyst to create a presentation-ready report in just four simple steps.
Knowledge.Works is one of the few solutions available to CI practitioners that support all phases of the intelligence process – data collection, aggregation, indexing, searching, analysis, reporting and collaboration. It is a fully scalable enterprise solution that has been employed in Fortune 500 corporations across industries. It provides a secure web-based interface to a single searchable repository of primary and secondary source information.
