Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Technology Professional Interest Section Elects Kevin Sangsland to 2011 Chair

Airfoil Public Relations today announced that Kevin Sangsland, APR and account director, has been elected by his peers to chair the 2011 Technology Professional Interest Section of The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).In this role, Sangsland will be responsible for leading PRSA's National Technology Executive Committee efforts to serve its members, recruit and develop future section leaders, build community and networking opportunities and deliver professional development.
He will also lead the charge for the continuation of education content through various PRSA Technology Section events, including its contributions to the upcoming Digital Impact Conference. The Technology Section is developing a dedicated track for the event, which takes place May 5-6 in New York City and will highlight trends and tactics emerging from the use of digital technologies in the advertising, marketing and public relations industry.

The PRSA Technology Section offers opportunities to connect with practitioners who understand issues and are willing to share solutions. Through PRSA's annual conference, in-person and virtual networking opportunities, newsletters and other resources, the Section helps practitioners develop public relations and management skills directly relevant to the technology industry.
