Teravista Community Wide Open House To Showcase Featured Homes

Based on the success of last year's event, REALTORS® are teaming up once again from multiple brokerages to host a community-wide open house of Teravista homes on Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 1pm to 5pm.

Community wide open houses such as this give potential buyers the opportunity to visit several homes in one afternoon, making their visit to the area much more productive. Shannon Ensor of Team Ensor at Sky Realty — one of the coordinators for last year's hugely successful Teravista event – recently said, "Last year's community wide open house had a huge turnout. As a result of the increased traffic, we were able to show our listing to a large audience in a short period of time. We went under contract on my listing shortly after the event, and I believe it was attributable in many ways to the community wide open house."

When asked about the importance of open houses for sellers, Rachelle Anselmi of Sky Realty said, "Open houses are very beneficial to buyers and sellers; how many times have you been driving from point A to point B and have been side tracked by open house signs? The easier it is for buyers to see your home, the better it is for your seller."

As of press date, there are currently 9 homes slated to be held open.

In addition to the homes being held open, representatives from local title companies and lending institutions will be on site to answer real estate related questions for attendees. Emily Morris with Independence Title will be in attendance, and PSJ Works has donated a Home Depot gift card to be among the prizes given at this year's event.
