Mezzanine started making waves when it opened last fall, redefining Tulum’s rustic lodging options with a splash of contemporary modernity and down-to-earth Euro chic sensibilities. Four minimalist suites complete with bold décor and airy overhead loft lounges overlook the aquamarine Caribbean Sea. The onsite restaurant serves up tasty authentic Thai dishes beneath billowing sail shades on a tiered stone patio beside the beach.

Tangy guavapolitans are a pleasing marriage of tart lime and sweet guava juice; thaitinis surprise with a fusion of Asian-inspired flavors (lemongrass, mint and orange); mezztinis are tropical concoctions of vodka, Malibu, banana liqueur; and the startlingly simple yet playful scubatini refreshes with a mixture of vodka, blue Curaçao, and lime juice.

MEZZANINE’S JUNGLE JUICE:
Equal splash of all liquors
Peach Schnapps, Midori, Banana Liqueur, Vodka, White Rum, Cointreau, Malibu

Equal 1/3`s of cranberry, orange & pineapple juice.

MEZZANINE’S LATIN LOVER:
30ml Midori
15ml Blue Curacao
15ml Vodka
pineapple juice

Place all ingredients in a shaker with ice.Serve in a cocktail glass with pineapple garnish
