DirectRooms.com – Attend Intense Surfing Boot Camp and learn to surf like a pro in the Maldives

DirectRooms.com divulges that a special surfing school in the Maldives will be teaching surfers how to improve their technique while revealing some of the best surfing spots around the islands.

The Intense Surfing Boot Camp is being run by Diverse Dynamics and features instruction from leading surfers from the Dominican Republic, Denmark and Brazil. Amongst other activities attendees will receive tutoring from surfing experts including the winner of the Brazilian Longboard Championships and the Danish Shortboard Championships.

The course in the Maldives is recommended for intermediate and more advanced surfers due to the nature of the water, with many of the waves breaking around coral reefs. The area does however provide great surfing conditions combined with clear waters and a variety of sea life.

The camp has two main events at the start of the year which will run for ten days each from 3rd to 13th April and 14th to 24th April 2011. Surfers travelling from hotels Maldives will be taken to Guraidoo Island where there are fewer crowds and students are given more time and freedom to practice on the waves.

Each surf course costs US$1495 per person without the use of surf equipment although attendees can hire gear once they get there.
