Thornhill, Ontario – Endangered Couture has finally arrived! A new fashion label devoted to raising awareness of endangered species and supporting environmental organizations such as the World Wildlife Fund. Founded in the suburbs of Toronto, Tamara Danielle, a recent graduate from the honours program in graphic design at York University decided to put her talent to work and create a new fashion ideal.

The full line of wild animal sweatshop free t-shirts are just the beginning! Slogans such as “I like the way you peck” for the woodpecker and “I’ll show my stripes if you show me yours” for the tiger set off the untamed nature of the collection titled “Go Wild!” A portion of the proceeds from each and every shirt go towards the World Wildlife Fund. Endangered Couture is part of the WWF’s crusaders program, so every t-shirt comes with special surprises from the international organization!

Inspired by the battle over the Oak Ridges Moraine, Endangered Couture was inaugurated upon the basic idea that companies should be socially and environmentally proactive. It’s about creating something that’s more then just a t-shirt and not just a one-time charity campaign. It’s about clothing that will continually raise awareness for endangered species and foster high quality sweatshop free apparel across the globe, while supporting a variety of organizations that conserve vital ecosystems and biodiversity.
