The Sands Centre in Carlisle is set to welcome some of Russia's most talented performers when the Moscow State Circus arrives in town on Saturday March 5th 2011.

The company's new show Legenda was inspired by the dreams of one of Russia's most famous historical figures, Grigori Rasputin.

It has been described as "genuinely eye-popping" by the Evening Standard and "thrilling" by a critic from the Times.

Tickets for the Sands Centre performances, which will last approximately two hours, are priced between £13 and £25.50.
