FIREAWAY LLC OPENS HEADQUARTERS IN MINNEAPOLIS AREA FACILITY WILL SERVE AS CORPORATE OFFICE, AND R&D SITE FOR FIRE PROTECTION PRODUCT MANUFACTURER

MINNETONKA, Minn. –– Fireaway LLC, a leading developer and manufacturer of safe, environmentally friendly, fire-suppressing aerosol products, has opened its corporate headquarters and research and development center at Encore Park (11503 K-Tel Drive), Minnetonka, MN 55343.

“The Encore Park location was the right combination of office and industrial space for our growing corporate needs. We were attracted by its proximity to such major thoroughfares as Hwy. 169 and I-495 and to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport,” said Founder and Chief Executive Officer James Lavin.

The facility will host the company’s administrative, manufacturing, and sales and marketing efforts, as well as a testing laboratory, where a 10-by-10, custom-built testing chamber has been completed and configured to test Stat-X ® products under live fire conditions.

Fireaway is currently developing its Stat-X ® line of fire suppression products and systems that offer cost effective solutions, enabling business continuity and mitigating potential losses from fire.

Fireaway’s research and development program is focused on expanding aerosol technology for a variety of applications. Theses devices meet National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 2010 standards, are approved for use by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, listed by UL Canada, and are manufactured to ISO 9000 standards.
