Chicago’s Paul McCartney concert goers and other Beatles fans will soon have a chance to experience the sights and sounds of Beatlemania when BritBeat, a Beatles tribute band from Chicago, performs two Beatles shows surrounding Paul’s concerts here next week at the United Center. While McCartney is scheduled to perform on October 18th and 19th at the United Center , BritBeat will entertain Beatles fans with their ‘Beatles Touring Years’ show on October 15th at Rory’s Music Café in Addison, IL and on October 21st at Famous Freddie’s Roadhouse in Mt. Prospect, IL.

Complete with mop tops, authentic instruments, Beatles’ suits, and harmonizing vocals, BritBeat band members distinguish themselves by being the same ages as the Beatles were when the came to America in the early sixties. All in their 20’s, BritBeat members Frank Canino as John, Chris Getsla as Paul, Danny Leavitt as George and Eric Jensen as Ringo perform one of the most authentic Beatles concert recreations in America, reminisant of Beatles’ concerts on the Ed Sullivan Show, Shea Stadium and Candlestick Park.

Beatles fans saw BritBeat perform earlier this summer, during celebration for the 40th anniversary of the Beatles concert at Comiskey Park, with shows at Ravinia’s Martin Theater and a performance with former Beatles drummer Pete Best at U.S. Cellular Field. This weekend and next, BritBeat is continuing the Beatles fan celebration with two shows surrounding Paul McCartney’s return to Chicago and will take Beatles fans back to the sixties to revisit Beatlemania.
