Kleenex Mums Rescues Parents from Poo Poo Island
December 21, 2010 (PRLEAP.COM) Lifestyle News
Kleenexmums.com.au, one of Australia's newest parenting websites with resources from stress relief tips to healthy meal ideas, has built an online island where parents can openly discuss toilet-training techniques and seek comfort in the fact that they are not along when it comes to the weird world of toilet training. Over 3,000 parents have visited the island since November, and one lucky family will be rescued by the end of January, winning seven nights in Fiji plus $2,000 spending money."There is a point somewhere between those first few precious moments when a newborn arrives into the world and a baby's six-month birthday where poo and all things related become a relevant and persistent topic in every parent's life," says Melissa Gassman from Kimberly-Clark Australia. "Weekend plans revolve around it. Leaving the house requires meticulous preparation, packing all the right products to deal with it. Parents plan their life around it, and they are knowingly let their child's toileting habits control their lives."
Kleenex Mums filmed the experiences of mums who have been to Poo Poo Island. They spoke to mums from around Australia and asked them to share the best ways to tackle various toilet training dilemmas – in particular, the challenge of preventing your children from using way more toilet paper than they really need. They also asked them to share some of their more colourful toilet-training stories.
There are many stories to be told when it comes to the trials and smiles of toilet training, and Poo Poo Island is a place where, for a limited time, those who share their stories have a chance to win one of 600 free trial packs of Kleenex Cottonelle Flushable Moist Wipes for Kids.
