Attorney Thomas E. Nutter Recruited by Webster University for Patent Law Program

OCTOBER 11, 2005, St. Louis, Missouri …Thomas E. Nutter, chairman of the Intellectual Property Department at the law firm of Gallop, Johnson & Neuman, has been recruited by Webster University in St. Louis to teach as an adjunct professor in the College of Arts & Sciences’ Patent Agency Master of Arts Program. Webster University’s patent agency program prepares students to practice as patent agents before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in patent cases. Mr. Nutter currently serves on Webster University’s Advisory Board for the Legal Studies Program.
In addition, Mr. Nutter was recently invited to serve as a member of the Advisory Board for the Intellectual Property & Technology Law Program at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
At Gallop, Johnson & Neuman, Mr. Nutter concentrates his practice in the area of intellectual property law, including the development, clearance, licensing, protection and litigation of patents, trademarks and copyrights domestically and internationally. He is a member of the International Trademark Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
Mr. Nutter earned a J.D. degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and a Ph.D. in History from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He has practiced law for more than 25 years.
