ActiveXperts SMS Messaging Server now supports GPS Tracking

Today, ActiveXperts Software released ActiveXperts SMS Messaging Server v.5.2.

ActiveXperts has rewritten its SMPP protocol stack; it is now compatible with the vast majority of all SMPP providers all over the world. Furthermore, it is faster (higher throughput), more reliable and has the ability to set TLV parameters per message.

There are new samples included with the project. Among the samples is a GPS Tracking sample, to track vehicles and plot the locations on a Google Maps enabled web site. This way, transport companies can follow their truck fleet wherever they are going.
The GPS Tracking project code is available for those who purchase an SMS Messaging Server license, without additional costs.

In v.5.2, there are many minor GUI improvements, including improvements to the Manager Application and the Channel Configuration Wizard.

In addition to the existing VBScript based method of processing messages it is now possible to process incoming messages by running a C# or VB.NET application or service.
