Craig Revel Horwood Website Launches New Ringtone Service

The website of well-known Director, Choreographer and Strictly Come Dancing Judge, Craig Revel Horwood, will now be selling ringtones that capture his iconic voice for mobile phones.

The new online addition will allow fans to choose from a selection of his recorded ringtones for download, at the price of only 50p. All visitors to the site will also be given one free ringtone – it captures his famous Strictly saying: 'A complete dance disaster'.

An important part of the ringtone service is that 50% of all sales will be donated to the National Osteoporosis Society, of which Mr Revel Horwood is a patron and has supported for many years. He has previously helped the organisation through radio interviews, live shows and taking part in school tours to raise awareness of the devastating effects of the fragile bone disease. Mr Revel Horwood has also spoken widely across the world about the NOS prevention and general bone health benefits of dancing.

Currently, there are approximately 3 million people who suffer from fragile bones in the UK. The new ringtones page on the Craig Revel Horwood website also includes a direct link for public donations to the National Osteoporosis Society, should they wish to contribute.

Mr Revel Horwood has to date had a successful career. Born in Ballarat, Australia, his professional life started as a dancer in Melbourne. He took part in prime productions there and also made television appearances, before relocating to London to expand his opportunities even further. His West End credits include Spend Spend Spend and My One and Only, both of which earnt him Laurence Olivier Award nominations for Best Choreography. His Sunset Boulevard production was also brought to The West End from the Watermill in Newbury, where he has directed many successful productions. Numerous national and international projects have allowed Mr Revel Horwood to build a strong reputation as a Director and Choreographer.

It is through his TV appearance as a member of the judge's panel on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing that has brought Craig Revel Horwood to the broad public eye as a familiar celebrity in the UK. Here he has at times received notoriety for his uncompromisingly direct opinions, leading some to label him as the BBC version of X Factor's Simon Cowell. Among his other TV appearances, such as previously appearing as a contestant on Celebrity MasterChef, Mr Revel Horwood is also a judge on Dancing with the Stars in New Zealand, along with Brendan Cole. In addition, his production of CHESS is currently out on a major National Tour of the UK.
