* Does the monitor resolution match the camera's capability? – if a monitor has a lower resolution than the camera's capabilities, the images will not come through clearly. If it has a higher resolution, the image quality will be even worse. There is no point in spending money on a CCTV camera if the surveillance cannot be clearly seen, so this factor is important.
* Wired or Wireless? – while it will obviously be easier to setup a wireless CCTV System, a wired security camera is the best option as it won't suffer from interference glitches and will provide the best video quality possible.
