MBNA Ireland Give Customers Credit Cards To Love

Credit card provider MBNA provides animal friendly and fan-friendly credit cards supporting charities and sports clubs. MBNA Ireland offers a range of affinity cards to it's card-holders, from charities to football clubs all in the name of supporting what's close to your heart. Consumers can choose from Celtic football club and Liverpool FC cards, Irish Farmers Association and DSCPA cards as well as other tie-ins.
The lender has tried to include a wide and varied selection of affinity cards in its range, so as to cater for customers across the country. As well as offering great apr rates and introductory offers, affinity cards are very popular with card-holders because they can show their support and actually donate to their favourite club or charity simply by using the card.
Speaking about one of MBNA Ireland's most popular products, the Dublin SPCA credit card, an MBNA representative said: "The DSCPA card helps card-holders to contribute to a charity that cares for sick, injured and abandoned pets and animals and they benefit greatly from the support of card-holders.
Charity credit card holders can help generate funds for the by switching to our special Visa card and for every account that is opened, MBNA Ireland will make a contribution to the Dublin SPCA and a further contribution will be made every time the card is used for a retail purchase."
As well as receiving a donation alongside every purchase made on the card; the Dublin SPCA also receive a donation from MBNA Ireland every time a new account is opened. The affinity partnership between the lender and the charity is beneficial to all parties, not least the card-holder who can feel content that by doing their normal shopping, their charity of choice is being supported.

The DSCPA card comes with 1.9% on balance transfers for 10 months and the Liverpool FC card scores a winning strike with 0% on transfers for 12 months.
