Regine Sixt wins Woman Of The Year Award

Regine Sixt, will be awarded the 'Woman of the Year' award at this years glamorous World Travel Awards which are set to take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London this Sunday.

The annual award ceremony is one of the most highly regarded occasions in the world of travel and this years event will highlight the key brands that have strived to succeed in what has been a challenging year for the travel and tourism industry.

The award recognises that Regine Sixt has been pivotal in driving continued growth of her family business, Sixt rent a car, during tough economic times. In her position as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales Regine Sixt has been key to developing Sixt as a world famous brand renowned for offering the highest quality rental vehicles coupled with an exceptional service.

Now in over 4,000 locations in 100 countries Sixt has experienced remarkable growth since it began in Munich, Germany almost 100 years ago.

The award will be the second prestigious honour handed to Mrs Sixt in the past month after she picked up the "World Citizen" award at the Hadassah International's Citizen of the World Awards in October.

In addition to her work with the car rental giant Regine Sixt is the founder of a highly successful childrens charity raising funds for seriously ill children across the world. The Regine Sixt Children´s Aid Association has made it its business to give children a better life.

The awards proceed the World Travel Market trade show which starts on Monday 8th of November. Sixt rent a car will be present at the show with a stand located within the global village area (GV 355).
