Sorry Works! and Stevens & Lee have collaborated since 2007 to bring a comprehensive range of disclosure services to health care clients across the country.
Sorry Works! was created in February 2005 by Doug Wojcieszak to advocate full disclosure by physicians, hospitals and insurers in the wake of medical errors. Before creating the organization, Wojcieszak had found that disclosure and apologizing were effective ways to reduce malpractice lawsuits, liability costs and even medical errors.
Stevens & Lee is a firm of more than 190 attorneys and 40 non-lawyer professionals, including risk management professionals, and is among the 200 largest law firms in the nation. Led by James W. Saxton, Esq., the firm's Health Care Litigation and Risk Management Team has a national legal and risk consulting practice which provides litigation and risk reduction strategies for physicians, hospitals and other health care providers. James W. Saxton has nearly 30 years of experience in health care risk management and loss control issues for physicians and health care organizations.
