The Metal Loves You Music Portal Launches One of the Largest Heavy Metal Wallpaper Databases on the Web

The Metal Loves You music portal has now added an index of heavy metal and death metal wallpapers to it's many other features. The wallpaper database, that can be accessed at http://www.metally.net/metal_wallpapers/wallpapers.php, is ordered by both, band name and alphabet to make finding the right wallpapers as simple as possible.

Currently there are over 1500 different pictures available on Metally.net, nearly all in the resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, which has become today's standard for wallpapers, since it is by far the most common resolution on desktop computers. All the pictures are of high quality and most of them are over 200 kilobytes in file size. In total the database does measure nearly 500 megabytes of disc space.

There are wallpapers available for very popular bands and artists like Metallica (at http://www.metally.net/wallpapers/image/creepingdeath/) or Slayer (at http://www.metally.net/wallpapers/image/hellawaits/) and for Iron Maiden you will find 27 different wallpapers but many "underdogs" are represented, too.

"Providing wallpapers was always one of the main goals for Metally.net, as they are an very important and popular way of showing others what music and band you like.
