Piher already earned the coveted ISO 14001 certification in February 2000. As a logical following step, as from February 2004 Piher is shipping Pb-Free components that comply with ELV 2000/53/EC (The End of Life Vehicles Directive) and RoHS 2002/95/EC (Directive on the Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment).
