Training fit for a Prince

October 05, 2005 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Prince2, which stands for 'Projects in controlled environments', was developed by the government in 1989 and is designed to provide best practice on how to manage and monitor projects.

Initially developed for managing the development of ICT (Information Communications Technology) projects, Prince2 is now widely recognised as the method for managing the development and implementation of any project, irrelevant of its size.

Norma Foster, chief executive of TNERP explains: “After the whole team at TNERP underwent the training we were asked to become a training provider for Prince2, as we already had a wealth of experience in project management.

“Prince2 training is widely acclaimed and we felt that this addition to our services would not only boost our business, but it would also have a positive effect on the region”.

After undergoing the training, supplied by the team at TNERP, David Warden, chief executive of Aligned Solutions Ltd based at the Silverlink in Wallsend, was particularly impressed with the service he received.

David says: “As a provider of consultancy services to the public sector, PRINCE2 is an important asset to us, so it was vital that we gained the certification quickly and at a reasonable cost.

“TNERP offered us exactly what we were looking for, within easy reach of our offices. The tutor teaching the course had a wealth of experience in project management and his helpful style and excellent organisation, made a challenging subject far easier to grasp.”

TNERP will run Prince 2 courses in October 2005 and February 2006. For further information telephone (0191) 487 2002 or download http://www.n-e-life.com//uploadedFiles/PRINCE2%20Training%20Courses%20TNERP.doc
