Bordeaux, FranceSeymour-James has been commissioned to promote the sale of a beautiful manor house in the rolling countryside of Tarn-et-Garonne, just an hour’s drive from Toulouse in France. However, this is no ordinary property. This house sits behind a little piece of cinema history.
Cate Blanchett and her family used this property when starring in the film Charlotte Gray. A Second World War spy movie, filmed on location in the picturesque local town of St Antonin Noble Val. In honor, the owner, Rod Millard has named the master bedroom of the manor, the Cate Blanchett suite.
Mr Millard who runs a business letting country homes for holidays (www.countryhousesinfrance.com) says, “I am pleased to select Seymour-James to promote this unique property for sale – we will however miss it having spent many happy years here”.
David Seymour comments: "I am delighted that the current owner has asked us to assist in marketing his property on www.seymour-james.com and wider a field. After all, it is a little special having being used to support a famous film like Charlotte Gray. I have little doubt that many people will fall in love with this house and it will not remain on the market for long".
