BlueStream Continues CAN-SPAM Compliancy
SACRAMENTO, CALIF., - BlueStream Media and BVWebTies (BobVilla.com) have successfully resolved all allegations set forth against them by HyperTouch, Inc., from March of last year, for their alleged violation of the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. Although settled, all parties strongly disagree as to the merits of the lawsuit. BlueStream was not required to change any email marketing practices to resolve this lawsuit and remains in full compliance with the CAN-SPAM act.
BlueStream Media continues to help small to large enterprises expand their clientele by providing leading email-marketing services and the knowledge needed to stay compliant within all local, state and federal laws. "All this lawsuit did was prove that the compliancy precautions we put in place, to adhere to the Act, work. We will continue to serve our existing and future clients with this message and help them avoid any compliancy issues in their email marketing practices for the future," Richard R. King, the CTO and Compliancy Officer for BlueStream Media, comments. In addition, BlueStream Media contributed $9,000 to The Spamhaus Project Ltd. in an effort to help effective organizations combat illegal spam.
