Ai Squared Releases ZoomText 9.0 New Clarity for Vision Impaired Computer Users

ZoomText makes computers accessible and friendly to vision-impaired users by magnifying and speaking what appears on the screen.

With ZoomText 9.0, seeing and hearing everything on the computer is now clearer than ever. New xFont magnification displays high-definition text that’s easy to read at all magnification levels. All types and sizes of text are displayed with unmatched clarity in all applications. With the new NeoSpeech synthesizers, applications and documents are read aloud by friendly, human-sounding voices. Users can sit back and rest their eyes while ZoomText reads their documents, web pages, and email.

ZoomText 9.0 also introduces new time-saving productivity tools. Application Settings give ZoomText the intelligence to adjust settings on the fly whenever the user switches applications. Text Finder makes it easy to locate words and phrases in any program or document window. Reading Zones allow the user to instantly see and hear selected locations in any application.

Rounding out the new 9.0 features are new fractional and extended magnification levels. 2.5x magnification has been added for users reporting that “2x is not enough and 3x is just too much”. And to accommodate high magnification users who are migrating to super high resolution screens, ZoomText’s range of magnification has been extended from 16x to 36x.
