The Thames Revival rally was launched last year and was such a success that it has been confirmed again for this summer as well.

There will be plenty more maritime exploits at this year's event, with vessels such as the tall ship Fryderich Chopin moored at the port and plenty of fabulous performances taking place on the river, as well as on land.

Visitors who happen to own a classic boat may well be able to take part in the rally - which involves a fee - but for the majority it is a great opportunity to see some top-notch vintage boats.
