AllTrust to Speak about Alternative Financial Services at Hispanic Retail 360 Summit
August 05, 2010 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
AllTrust Networks will be speaking at the Hispanic Retail 360 Summit in San Diego on August 9, 2010 on the topic of Using Alternative Financial Services to Reach Hispanic Consumers.Mainstream retailers today strive to differentiate their stores, and attract the growing Hispanic market. Many retailers nationwide have begun offering in-store financial services (e.g. check cashing, bill payment, money transfer, and prepaid cards) to aid their outreach efforts to the expanding Latin American market. Offering this type of financial service can drive foot traffic and improve store profits. The Center for Financial Service Innovation reports that over 40% of underbanked consumers prefer to perform financial transactions in a retail setting.
Mr. Chuck Ullan, EVP for Strategy & Finance for AllTrust Networks will address the basics of these services and outline how retailers use them to grow their Hispanic customer base. The talk will provide an overview of potential market (unbanked / underbanked), keys to managing the risks associated with check cashing and other financial services, and specifics on how grocery retailers are effectively implementing these services.
The Hispanic Retail 360 Summit is being held at the Hyatt Regency, La Jolla from August 8-10. For more information on the event, visit www.hispanic360.com.
