Underground Printing Unveils Newly Remodeled Location in Bloomington
August 06, 2010 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Underground Printing, a custom screenprinted and embroidered apparel company, has recently remodeled its store in Bloomington, just in time for new student orientation and the return of students this fall. The remodel created a new, larger space, almost doubling the square footage available for customers to peruse the retail collegiate apparel. The additional space was needed to accommodate a slew of new products and designs the company is now offering to the campus community. "We had a great start to our retail line last year, and the response was overwhelming from students and the campus community," noted co-owner Rishi Narayan. "We knew we had to expand our operation to allow for more of our unique products to be available for the fall in order to keep up with the demand." The new fall line will feature an expanded offering of officially licensed IU designs on the latest styles from brands like American Apparel, a large selection of Adidas licensed apparel, and new designs to appeal to anyone who just loves, IU, Bloomington and the state of Indiana. The store, located at 512 E. Kirkwood Ave, will continue to offer unparalleled customer service, quick turnaround, low prices, and technology to make getting top quality custom printed apparel affordable and easy as well.
Looking to stand out in a competitive retail market, Underground Printing brought a number of unique features to the Indiana apparel market. The company shirked the conventions of the traditional, boxy "bookstore t-shirt", opting for better fits, softer materials, and brands that appeal to the college market. An ever changing array of design and styles is the focus of Underground Printing's retail approach for the coming school year. "Look for even more new designs to roll out throughout the fall," said co-owner Ryan Gregg. "We plan to stay responsive to the atmosphere on campus from week to week, with new styles and designs that reflect that atmosphere."
In addition to the physical store location, customers can also shop online at www.ugpiuapparel.com. "So many of our customers have become accustomed to our great products and service while they are on campus, and we want to continue to serve them as they become alumni and move out into the world at large. Now they can pick up great Indiana University gear no matter where they are, with the convenience of online shopping," Narayan remarked.
Underground Printing is located at 512 E. Kirkwood Ave, next to Kilroys. The store is open 10a-7p Monday-Friday and 11a-6p Saturday and Sunday.
