Cool As Ever Tech, One of the Largest Twitter Events in Southern California, Returns to the Del Mar Races

Cool As Ever Tech (http://coolasevertech.com), happening Saturday August 14, will bring together Southern California's tweeting elite for an exciting day at the Del Mar racetrack. Unlike any other interactive web event, Cool As Ever Tech combines the fun and intensity of Del Mar horseracing with the latest in microblogging and social media. Last year's event attracted over 600 attendees, and organizers predict that this year there will be more than 1,000.

Featuring cutting edge consumer technology and a huge real-time tweet stream, the gathering will connect tech enthusiasts from Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego. Attendees can bet on the races at a private betting booth, see demos of the latest tech gadgets, check in on Foursquare, and tweet away, all while taking in the action trackside. This year's event is also happening on Reggae & Beer Fest day at the track, which features a concert with Jimmy Cliff & Matisyahu and the opportunity to sample some of more than 60 different beers on the infield.
