A VISUAL ROAD FOR THE ROLLING STONES 2005-06 WORLD TOUR, 'A BIGGER BANG'

LOS ANGELES, California—September 28, 2005—The ROLLING STONES 'A Bigger Bang' 2005-06 World Tour has rolled out in the domestic USA with extensive imagery, new audience interaction and video production provided by Screenworks NEP.

Recently, Mick Jagger in speaking about the Bigger Bang audience, expressed that the Stones’ want to “get the audience more involved”. Through custom set and stage design by designer Mark Fisher, a large emphasis was placed on the custom created main low resolution screen built specifically for this tour. Danny O’Bryen, Screenworks NEP Co-Founder, has integrated all components of video and imagery into each of Fishers conceptualized designs by building each screen to fit each of A Bigger Bang’s needs. The main screen is a Panasonic 20 mil led screen, which is 42 ft high by 42 ft wide. To both the left and the right of main screen are the SLR [SREENWORKS low resolution] LED Screens 50 ft high by 70 foot wide, one on each side. Both of which are custom build to fit Fisher's design of the stage that is 92 ft high by 250 wide. There are side audience screens on each side of the stage, which are both made by Panasonic at 20 mil 15 h x 15 wide. The opening act screens are on each side [Panasonic 20 mil 15 high by 15 wide]. The full Production package consists of a (SDI) Serial Digital System Pinnacle 9000 switcherSYSTEM. To finish off the set, Screenworks has equipped the tour with 11 cameras, and 20FT Jibs. A Bigger Bang 2005-06 is directed by Christine Strand and the video engineer is Zainool Hamid.

Mick Jagger closed a recent interview with noting “I think, for me, you just have to tune yourself into the audience.” The production crew has built A Bigger Bang based upon this theory.

Continuing their historic partnership, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, and Ronnie Wood had come back together in late 2004 to write 'A Bigger Bang', which was later released on September 6, 2005 through Virgin Records. The U.S. leg of the Rolling Stones A Bigger Bang tour is presented by Ameriquest Mortgage Company and is currently running with a total of 35 shows, which began on August 21st, 2005 at Fenway Park in Boston. The tour is projected to end on January 20th, 2006 at Madison Square Garden, in New York City. The current set list is 21 songs long with Brown Sugar closing as the encore. The ROLLING STONES have once again brought fans electrifying performances and state-of-the art stage production. Ticket sales have reached record highs, with fans already purchasing 97% of all tickets currently available for sale. The ROLLING STONES' A Bigger Bang world tour is also presented by Concert Productions International and produced by WPC Piecemeal Inc. The ROLLING STONES hold the record for the top 2 most-attended North American tours of all time.
