INTERNET ENTREPRENEUR RIDES THE WAVE OF IPOD EUPHORIA
October 01, 2005 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
Self proclaimed internet entrepreneur James Brodrick is cashing in on the current iPOD hysteria. One of Mr Brodricks' company's 4everweb.com is offering a free Apple iPOD to any new company that takes up a service with them. The idea of giving away MP3 players with products and services is nothing new; however Mr Brodrick appears to have gone a good step further by offering a high value product that is just as much a fashion statement as it is a gadget, which has helped Apple to sell more than 20 million worldwide.
James said "This is obviously a gimmick; however I believe it will grab the attention of younger business minded people in our area. Young dynamic minds have a lot to offer this area and I feel that 4everweb.com can help them to take their ideas to the next level". He went on to say "in my previous employment I spent a great deal of time travelling in and out of London, even though the company that I worked for was based just outside of Frome. I see no reason why the West country's internet projects should lag behind that of the City, given that the technology now available allows a level playing field".
Mr Brodrick, from Hallatrow near Bath, worked as an Internet Consultant for PNC Telecom after leaving school in 1998 with poor A-level results. He claims to have almost 7 years experience with web marketing. In 2001 he left PNC Telecom and set up 4everweb.com, which has successfully kept trading over the last few turbulent years, which has seen many other Internet companies going out of business, including the Internet arm of his previous employer PNC Telecom.
Behind the gimmicky free iPOD, James has a vision of adding more dynamic web projects to the already healthy 4everweb.com portfolio.
