Nevada Democrats Narrow Voter Registration Margin Again

Voter Registration figures published by the Nevada Office of the Secretary of State shows the slim difference between Republican and Democratic registrations narrowed by 404 voters in August, leaving the 'registration gap' at 822 active registered voters.

The gap narrowed by over 36% between May and June, 2005 and another third in August. Breakdowns by county can be found at the Secretary of State's website at http://www.sos.state.nv.us

Nevada voters have a proud history of independence when casting a ballot on Election Day. With over 164,000 voters registered as non-partisan and significant numbers of third-party voters, this election cycle is no different.
