(Boca Raton, FL) —-Less than one month after Katrina cut a path of deadly destruction through the heart of New Orleans and across the Gulf Coast, America is once again bracing for yet another potentially catastrophic category five Hurricane with thunderous 165 mph winds. Forecasters have predicted that Rita could be the most intense hurricane on record ever to hit Texas, and easily one of the most powerful ever to strike a U.S. coastline.
Ron Wexler, President and CEO of the Ten Commandments Commission, has issued an urgent call to prayer. “We are calling on all friends, supporters and members of the Ten Commandments Commission to pray for those in the path of Hurricane Rita,” announced Wexler, “Lets us unite under the banner of faith and pray for divine protection in the wake of yet another life threatening storm front."
President George W. Bush has ordered a state of emergency in Texas and Louisiana as the states braced for the hurricane's landfall. "We hope and pray that Hurricane Rita will not be a devastating storm, but we've got to be ready for the worst," said President Bush
