Secretary Of Defense PBL Award Winners to Present at PBL 2010

Arlington, June 2010 - Worldwide Business Research (WBR) is hosting the Performance Based Logistics (PBL) Conference 2010. The 3-day conference focuses on The Next Generation of PBL – Performance Based Lifecycle Product Support. It is scheduled for July 26-28 at the Marriott Crystal Gateway in Arlington, VA. Among the program briefings scheduled for this military logistics conference, the Redstone Arsenal's High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) PBL and Naval Air Systems Command's CASS PBL are both SecDef Award Winners."As the Department of Defense's preferred contract method, PBL continues to grow and develop," says Lisa Ringlen, the executive director of the PBL 2010 program. This DoD logistics training program will address implementation of the PSAT report, acquisitions and getting a PBL program started, including developing the BCA and case studies, best practices and lessons learned from current PBL programs across the services. Prominent PBL champions participating in this event include – Rear Admiral Raymond E. Berube, Commander of US Naval Inventory Control Point; Colonel David Rice, Project Manager for Precision Fires Rocket and Missile Systems; Commander Robert Stailey, Deputy Program Manager, Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Program; Jimmy Bailey, Deputy Director, C-17 Program Management and Colonel Shane T. Openshaw, Program Manager for Apache Helicopters.
